Mind the Gap

Sonos ReScored Winner

Official Selection London Short Film Festival 2.

Winner of Sonos ReScored Competition.

Having first heard the story on the news, and as a Londoners who had grown up hearing the voice of Oswald Laurence on the tube, we felt compelled to bring the story to screen and celebrate one of our most cherished institutions.  We very lucky to find our star, Eileen Nicholas (Trainspotting) whose performance on the day was an inspiration to us all.

"Beautifully shot, full of heart, with a notable performance from Eileen Nicholas. "

BFI,

Mind The Gap premiered at the London Short Film Festival, was broadcast on national television and has enjoyed a great online reception since. The film was most recently chosen as the winning entry to the the Sonos ReScored competition. This granted us the privilege of working alongside Oscar winning composer, Steven Price (Gravity) and Grammy winner Giles Martin to write a new score which was performed by a full orchestra in Abbey Road’s iconic Studio One.

"Mind The Gap is a beautifully shot film, crisply edited, with superbly moving acting. A lovely idea perfectly realised."
